Corns Residence

The Corns Residence received an "Award for Excellence" for new construction from the Historic Florida Keys Foundation for its scale, proportion and contribution to the Historic District in Key West, Florida.

The contemporary design reflects the scale and character of its surrounding historic neighborhood through the use of small buildings joined by an enclosed breezeway-like entrance. The project abuts and is now part of the compound created by Tennessee Williams in 1949. The Tennessee Williams House serves as the main residence while 1430 Catherine functions as guest quarters.
